Sandra (aka Sondy) Doyle founded Moxy Media in 2020. With over 10 years of professional experience as a director, producer, writer, cinematographer, drone pilot, video editor, & motion graphic designer she continues to develop her craft. Sondy has created content for brands as well as corporate clients including Toyota, GMC, Stanford University, San Francisco Giants, SAP, Southern Utah University, St George News, Southern Utah Museum of Art, St George News, O’Neill, & Patagonia.
Sondy completed her Bachelor of Arts in Film & Media from UC Berkeley in 2015, graduated Magna Cum Laude & was was invited to be a member of the oldest academic honor society, Phi Beta Kappa . Her studies focused on video production, cinematography, visual story telling, screenwriting, film theory, analysis & criticism, as well as a retrospect of international film history and its effects on contemporary media.
Sondy's passion has led her to work on independent documentaries. She was the post production producer, lead editor, motion graphics designer, and sound designer for award winning mockumentary "Not Just An Influencer" 2024. Instagram star Beau Martino (Instagram: @cbeaumartino) sets off on a rock climbing expedition to the Cirque of the Unclimbables to prove himself as a capable climber in an effort to show that he is not just a rock climbing influencer. "Not Just An Influencer" won Best Documentary at the 2024 Yucca Valley Film Festival.
Sondy was the creative producer, post production coordinator, lead editor, and motion graphics designer for award winning documentary "Naretoi" 2019 which follows a group of Maasai and American women to the summit Mt. Kenya to fundraise for the education of Massai women. Naretoi won Best Short Documentary Film at Tryon International Film Festival and Silver Award at The Telly Awards and toured in the following 2019-2022 film festivals: Women’s Adventure Film Tour, No Man's Land Film Festival, Wild & Scenic Film Festival, Aspen Mountain Film Festival, Durango Independent Film Festival, Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival, Siskiyou Film Fest, & Femmes en Montagne - Annecy France.
Sondy harbors a deep love for nature and strives to lead a sustainable business and environmentally conscious life. In her free time she likes to explore the wild West and enjoys rock climbing, canyoneering, backpacking, & surfing. She always brings her camera or drone on her next adventure. Sondy is based in Santa Cruz, CA but often travels for work!
